Become a Space4Climate Champion!

Space4Climate invites expressions of interest from individuals from our member organisations, at all career stages, to become Space4Climate Champions.  This is an opportunity to build / use your skills and confidence in communicating your research and expertise in climate data from space to a range of audiences, as well as building-up your communications experience.

Previous Space4Climate Champions have been able to:

  • Join Space4Climate stands at conferences and exhibitions
  • Provide expert comment for media requests
  • Join us at networking events with policy and industry audiences
  • Take part in discussion panels to represent the UK EO for climate community
  • Access free media and engagement training
  • Publish blogs on the Space4Climate website

Requirements

  • Over 18 years old
  • Employed by an organisation or institution that is a member of Space4Climate
  • You have the support of your line manager / supervisor for your application
  • Expertise in part(s) of the climate data from space supply chain.  We represent end-to-end capability from mission to information utilising satellite data in decision support for climate action.
  • Commit to accepting requests from Space4Climate to attend relevant events / join panels when you are able to
    (Please note that Space4Climate is not in a position to reimburse travel and accommodation expenses for events)
